First topic message reminder :

If anyone is wondering, Windows 8 was originally intended for mobile devices but Microsoft had to develop the 8.1 patch because many people still use a desktop computer rather than a mobile device. Unfortunately there's going to be a time when support for win7 (which is what I'm using at present) will end, but I'm hoping that this doesn't happen anytime soon.

Of course, no one doubts such. The point was it is not nessecary with a MAC, a PC it is.

it's a necessity either way when you want to be super safe.

I agree with having anti virus software since it can remove any viruses off your computer then it can run how it should run

one is never truly safe without an Anti-virus program on their system

Yes indeed. Free upgrade being offered for the 1st year too.

Believe or not maybe not.

people stick to what they know for as long as they can, so they will stick to windows 7 for as long as possible , or until there is no more tech support for it

Usually yes, but thats why they are now offering the upgrade free for a free, to combat this. From what I have been reading, it might actually work to an extent.

Of course there will always be people who will do this, but I believe my Microsoft's strategy is to reduce that number to low as possible, I think they may actually succed (to extend) in getting that number as low as it has ever been.
