Favorite AM Radio Stations?

Hello everyone,

Everyone can post there favorite AM Radio Stations here, there are a lot of sports stations, news stations and even a few music ones as well.

Which ones do you like?

Yes I do agree with that Brandon. There is ads on the free version of Spotify and I can listen to whatever music I feel like listening to

And even on the ad supported version most of the ads are telling you to get Spotify premium lol.

Yes that is very true. I did listen to it last night and there was a ad saying thanks for listening to Spotify I thought that was interesting lol

i don't listen to spotify at home i do when i go to the grandparents house tho i'm more of a listen on the go type of person

I do listen to Spotify on my laptop. I can listen to my phone if I need to. I haven't used Spotify on my phone a while now. But it is good to have just in case I want to listen to Spotify in my room from bluetooth on my phone through my stereo. Anyways I don't listen to AM stations at all

Since I am trying quite hard to shut the world out atm (4:45 PM CST on 4/6/2020), both of my two radios are turned off.

it's better not to listen to the radio at this point in time do much negative going on at the moment.

There are a number of all-music stations on Canadian radio actually but there are zero guarantees that they won't stop the music to air the garbage news about the world at present. I for one am NOT willing to take this risk, and will continue to keep my radios off for the immediate future.

Most stations do news updates every half hour or hour or so. Even the music ones.

As I said earlier in this thread, CBC (which stands for Canadian Broadcasting Corporation and ALWAYS will) has been using a news on the hour every hour for quite some time now. I was an avid listener to this station on its AM signal until I started having issues with EMF interference.  I switched to the FM signal in response to this and the problem disappeared.

I do have radio on my stereo but I only listen to it a short time before turning it back to the AUX setting on there. I have been listening to Spotify or songs on my iCloud or even YouTube videos to listen to music with no commericals. I also listen to Sting Ray music station called The Light which does have no ads just music apart from a small voice over saying your listening to String Ray Music. That is all I have been doing

String Ray Music is part of my cable package in Canada with Shaw. It all of these music channels playing lots of different types of music on different channels. The Light is the one I listen to since it does play a lot of Christian Music radio singles along with Canadian Christian Artists. But there is a lot of channels on there to listen to. You just turn it to that channel and listen to non stop music with no commericals along with few voices over. I love it since it is good way to listen to music for a while. I am guessing it isn't down in the USA on the cable

I may get this on the cable signal that I help to pay for but I'm not entirely sure.

our classic rock radio station's morning show live streams on facebook there funny they also been a big help with what has been going on in the world to pass the time with everyone staying home.

Radio station's live streaming on facebook is becoming a big thing now that they can go on and show how all there shows work Ect.

Been looking into this a bit and it turns out that my cable signal does carry this. I haven't actually used it yet, and honestly don't know if I actually will or not.
