lake trip pics?

is anyone still interested in the the pics of the lake trip that ttfan and i went on?

I am glad your last time went well. That was the second summer trip or maybe it was a fall trip. I am happy it went well

It was a fall trip Josh. Naturally the end of the season means that these trips are done for the year but next year is always open. As I've mentioned before, my mother's now former teacher friend has said that she is wanting to find a different campground however so there is a chance that trips to the current campground may come to an end at some point.

The campground that spent the first weekend of October 2021 at is now closed for the season.
It will be opening for the summer of 2022 in May however.

Unfortunately the waiting game continues as of 10:05 AM CDST on 3/21/2022 but such is to be expected. As usual I will do what I can to keep people informed.

Hello everyone.
Unfortunately I have some sad news to report today (as of 8:30PM CDST on 3/22/2022). The 2022 edition of the lake trip will have one less member, as my mother's teacher friend has chosen to put one of her two cats to sleep due to issues with arthritis and injuries sustained in a bad fall. This cat was 19 years old and, even though its somewhat comforting to know that she's not suffering anymore, I will miss having her around.

As for the date of the trip itself, such remains completely unknown as its still FAR too early in the new year to know for sure. I will do what I can to keep everyone informed about this as usual however.

Just letting you know that, while there's no actual plan in place for the 2022 trip yet, I can say that it will be happening. As previously mentioned, this trip will have one less member from now on but I have come to terms with this.

Just letting you all know that one of the roads I use to reach the campground that I stay at/in during my summer road trips is having major flooding issues atm (as of 3:20PM CDST on 5/18/2022). Such is a frightening situation to be sure, but I remain safe and sound as I'm not in the area right now.

Sadly the flooding issues are still happening as of 3:50PM CDST on 5/26/2020 but I remain perfectly safe as I'm not in the area that's being flooded at present. As usual I will do what I can to keep all of you informed of any updates on the 2022 trip.

Nothing new to report as of 12:45PM CDST on 6/1/2022, but I will keep doing what I can to keep you all informed.

Its probably commonplace now but there's noting new to share as of 8:40AM CDST on 6/72022. I did hear that one of the many flooded highways in my part of Canada has re-opened now, but the one that I use on my usual late summer trip remains closed. As usual I will do what I can to keep everyone here informed.

According to the information that I have, the aforementioned trip is happening in August (which isn't unexpected). 
Unfortunately I have to deal with some unwanted BS before this actually happens though.

Hello everyone, got some somewhat sad news here.
Even though I've confirmed that my regular summer trip will be happening in August, I've recently learned that the owners of the campground that houses the trailer I stay in have made the rules pertaining to it noticeably (and frustratingly) stricter. I do remember being there with my mother and twin brother only at one time, but such is no longer possible due to these new rules. 

Such has already driven one party out, and my mother's friend has started to think about selling out as well. Such remains on the back burner for now however, as the owner of this plot of land has other priorities to look after. As usual I will do what I can to keep everyone on here informed of all new developments in terms of this matter.

Turns out that I was wrong about the rules pertaining to the campground. From what I've been told, these rules (which doesn't allow a trailer in it to be used unless the trailer's owner is also present) have been in place for well over a year now. 
Admittedly these are frustrating but, the owners of such a place can do this if/when they want/feel a need to (I've also been told that the campground did have issues with a loud party at least once, which was why the aforementioned rules were brought into existence).

As for the 2022 trip, I have no new information to share. I will do what I can to keep all of you informed however.
