Not like like this mtvfan...Forumotion hosts nearly 1 billion forums just like this one, they have had servers going down left and right for the past few months now. This one tonight was the worst yet, I think the whole forumotion NETWORK went down, that means over 1 billion forums became unavailable for nearly an hour (on Christmas EVE).

true, but servers go down at random all the time, the good thing is the staff gets right on it whenever it does go down, and get it back up as quick as possible

Re: our Apologizes for the black out!
It's understandable why you do not seem concerned. I am though, because as the forum's founder I am always speaking on behalf of this forum on the forumotion support forum, and I read about server crashes over there constantly, and it just keeps getting worse and worse with each one, and longer as well. From a perspective I am very concerned for this and every other forum hosted by forumotion about this server thing. Whats the biggest frustration is that: We (the individual founders and admins) who are in charge of keeping our forum maintained and running from every aspect including as technician. We have NO control over this issue, We can not control it, Prevent it or know when it will happen. It is very concerning to me to know that a forum can go down (possibly not come back for anywhere between hours to days or even week) and we can not do A SINGLE thing as Administrator, yet our duty is keep the site running! The server could prevent me and every other adminstistrator from doing OUR jobs (which are very important). it is very unsettling and I hope that they fix this SOON!

well you have every right to be concerned, you are the admin of the site, so you would be concerned if it crashed and burned, but i think the forumotion brass will do their best to fix the problem for everyone

I know right, By the way guys the forumotion admins did not fix last nights issues, thankfully the server came back online by itself, but if had not, I would not be posting this message right now.
