Still better though, as I said earlier you can go cross country with the radio station, no commericials I would take a choppy any day for that.

I remember a time when I worked with someone who had satellite radio in there car. The signal was 100% clear, but some of the channels were a little too specific for my taste. I'm not one to judge however, and allow people to make their own choices (on this or any other matters).

I am sure there are variety stations out there tigertankfan.... they are just MANY, MANY more radio stations on satellite radio then FM Radio and as a result they can afford a lot more specific stations while still having variety ones out there.

satellite signals are affected by weather patterns, normal radio is not, plus normal radio is free.

Yes, but that is not what I am saying though mtvfan, I am not saying FM Radio is bad thing, I am just simply saying Sirius XM radio is a better if you can afford to pay it.

That is so true, FM Radio is good for the average person, but if you have extra cash to spare why not enjoy the Luxury of nice commercial FREE radio?

Mtvfan public service announcements are not adverts for the reason that the RADIO STATION does not MAKE MONEY by playing them.

How can they make money? They are public service announcements for the PUBLIC. It is not advertising a specific product or company, it is not paid for by 1 company either. I think that makes it free and not an advertisement.
