They do, but they have thier houses on 20 foot hign stilts! They be dry during the Noah flood!

I don't think that will even help them with flooding. I have seen videos of flooding on TV. No one can escape that at all

20 foot high stilts! They run hurricanes drills too, like fire drills almost.

I am just saying with high winds or water that rushing really fast. I am thinking it would be a disaster with anything even when you are prepared

one can never be too prepared for a disaster, but preparation is how to act when there is a disaster of any kind

That is always so true, it is when people become blind to these things and say "It can not happen to me" that they get caught unprepared and ill equipped for the situation when it DOES happen.

It's not nice and warm here any more. I got cold again and we got some snow but not very much snow at all. Still going to be cold again before it warms again. It shouldn't be too bad. It is still winter but I still enjoy the warm weather when it does happen

It tends to vary from place to place (and year to year). There has been two consecutive years where snow was on the ground before Halloween in my City.

There is snow plows to get all of the snow cleared to where it is suppose to go. Snow routes are the ones that need to be done right away in cities. They have to be ready for it every winter.

plows only run when the snow is heavy enough to cause problems on the road

No it is just priority routes for major used roads around the city.
