First topic message reminder :

If anyone is wondering, Windows 8 was originally intended for mobile devices but Microsoft had to develop the 8.1 patch because many people still use a desktop computer rather than a mobile device. Unfortunately there's going to be a time when support for win7 (which is what I'm using at present) will end, but I'm hoping that this doesn't happen anytime soon.

Well I meant I hope Windows 10 is not going to be like Windows 8 because that would an epic fail .

I've heard that Windows 10 was created in response to complaints about bugs in the programming of Windows 8 (with the hidden start button being the most common complaint).

What choice does a person have? The only other real option is to buy an Apple Computer and not everyone can afford one or those.

You also must take into account that even though Windows and Microsoft may have been on a very slight decline lately, they are still the most affordable, easy to use and most widely available to all.

How can a company be evil? It is not like this is company run by like 10 people, this is a company with probably hundreds of thousands of people, developers, programmers etc. surely all those workers can not be evil?

I think the point of his post was to say he was dis pleased with Microsoft.

I hate windows but what to do? Only that is aviable in Croatia

But I using server on linkus. I will not use win server because it's worst.

I do not how Microsoft can possibly be evil, they create new software's to try make the software better, whether it does or not is not the point, any new thing in technology will have bugs, period. That is just the way of the technology field. What matter is how well they fix them.

Relating to your skype point, maybe you do not like that they bought it, or that they have neglecting it's up keep since then, however, they are not evil for this, contrary it was a very smart business move on their part.

Windows 8 was a pain and not as easy as previous Windows software, but it was made that way to compete with Apple in the App field, Windows 7 was the best spot on software created by Microsoft since Windows XP. Microsoft took the best of Windows 7 and incorporated apps into as best as could possibly be done.

That is my thoughts on this,

I am guessing the whole airplane thing is a new way for people to get Windows 10 as a way to advertise to people to get Windows 10. It is just one of the ways Microsoft is advertising to people to get them to buy Windows 10

A linux computer? How would I ever buy one of those when they don't sell them at walmart and for the 4th time, microsoft is NOT, I repeat NOT evil, just because you dis like them, does not mean they are evil. As @tester12 mentioned before, it was actually a smart bussiness move on there part to buy skype.

It's an operating system. Less well known the Apple or Microsoft.

apples run leopard, but can run windows, because they are geared exactly the same way as a PC. and yes Microsoft is evil, they destroyed Skype, and have a strangle hold on anything regarding computers, computer gaming, and console gaming
