I don't think they care, they can't see it!

maybe, but the tv execs rarely listen to complaints

Well still write to them.

actions speak louder than words, so turning it off will send the message better than anything

But they wont see you turn off the tv, so the action means nothing.

maybe not individually, but that's why you tell others to turn it off along with you, thus costing the show viewers

A letter still will suffice.
Re: what was everyones favorite shows as a child,if you all can remember
I agree a letter should suffice .
Re: what was everyones favorite shows as a child,if you all can remember
doing both would be much better, as a letter alone will most likely be ignored.

Maybe and maybe not.

still worth doing, but something has to be done to keep this from happening

Yeah I suppose doing both can't hurt, just as long as a letter is written .

turning it off sends more of a message, as the network brass always checks the ratings

Turning it off and sending a letter is a double wamme when performed together .
Re: what was everyones favorite shows as a child,if you all can remember
turning it off is a much better first step, but both is doable too, although the letter will most likely be ignored, the execs only care about ratings, so if the ratings drop, they will act to get them back up

Yeah well they should also care about reviews... Now if I send this letter to both tbem and the reviewers... Now they care .

worth a try if you are so convinced it will bring about change, but do not be surprised if you get a robot letter back, maybe it's time for spongebob to leave the airwaves all together, there was only one voice for him, and now that he's gone, he will never be replaced.

Not all together, just the new one.

Re: what was everyones favorite shows as a child,if you all can remember
well either way its time has come and gone, with the original voice actor now gone, it's time to relegate this show to the "once a week" list, or remove it from the airwaves completely.

I think twice a week should suffice.
Re: what was everyones favorite shows as a child,if you all can remember
perhaps, but twice a day or more is just getting overly excessive.
