I want to wish everyone a Happy holidays, I hope everyone has a good christmas, hannakah, kawanaza (sorry if I miss spelled either of those), or whatever you celebrate. I also wish everyone a Hapoy upcoming new year, hopefully 2018 will be a good one, both for everyone personally and for this site.

I don't understand, why you wish peoples Merry Christmas half week before that?

will try my best for a happy holiday, but without my grandmother and my train set, it won't be easy

12/25 means December 25th, which is christmas.

Well I'm celebrating Christmas. I wanted to know why exactly do you celebrate it?
Is theresome reason or just because everyone else do?

well, it's an age old tradition, it's even a tradition on the holidays to honor the memory of friends and relatives that have passed away

So you have no idea what happened on that day before like a 2000 years, you are just celebrating "something"...
Sometimes I feel just sorry for you all... I mean, I don't think anything bad... Just... I don't know. Like you don't think, just doing what everyone else do and you don't even know the reason...

Yeah, for brain-washed peoples... Yes...

I mean it's almost Christmas and I don't want to be rude or anything
But you can celebrate it or not without all that "lost meaning". It's everywhere like that.

Well I am not religious, but for the religious folks of the world (christians or catholics I should say), it is supposed to celebrate the birth of Christ.

For me personally it is just a day off from work and a chance to spend time with family and possibly get a few gifts along the way.

See, it's ok if you are not religious and all... But in my opinion it's nice and grammatically corect to write personal names (like Christ for example) with upper case of first letter... As I'm aware of...

Also, Chatolics are Christians. But not all Christians are Chatolic

well, that's the religious meaning of it, yes, but it's also a time to be with friends and family, which is still somewhat observed.
