[Official Statement/Support topic] Forum Connection/image issues (12/28/2015)

Hello BD users,

If you experience any issues on BD tonight, it is due to Forumotion having a tech issue at present. A report has been made to the pro staff, we have no further info at present. Issues may include (but are not limited to):

-Trouble connecting to the site
-Getting 'Your request has timed out' when trying to post or make a new topic
-Images not displaying properly on the forum
-Trouble uploading images via the on site uploader


Please report to us any issues you encounter. Include as much info as possible including the page you encountered it on, the time, where in the world you are, what the problem is, a screenshot (if possible). Any info provided, once confirmed by myself or another Admin will be passed on to the pro team at Forumotion to try and fix this faster.

We will do our best to keep you informed on the status of these issues.

We ask that you all be patient and work with us on this as these issues are 110% beyond our (the BD admins' control).

Hello guys,


I do have an update for you, the pro staff at Forumotion have informed us that yesterday evening and very early into the morning, the server experienced massive flooding which likely resulted in the issues experienced both here on BD and other FM forums. Servimg, the host used for on site image uploading also experienced massive flooding which resulted in the troubles they had as well. Both of these should be resolved and everything should be back to normal and running smoothly from here on out.

I will be observing on my own for a little while before declaring all will remain normal. If you experience any problems, please do let me know.

I again apologize for any inconvience the troubles yesterday may have caused. I thank everyone that was patient and worked with us until the issues were resolved.

Thanks for the updates Brandon and mtvfan. BD does seem to be running smoothly at the moment once more. If I experience any issues, I will let you know though .
