Well I cant really speak for him. Seeing as he really doesn't know you, I am sure he won't care either.
Re: New NHL 2002 players
well, he kind of knows me, but if he;s ok with it, i will leave the player with his name on the game

Re: New NHL 2002 players
I hope he is the best player on the Toronto Maple Leafs since they need all the help they can get. I did play hockey games with my little cousins before. I wasn't good at it at all. I still stick to playing NBA games on PS2 with my created players and teams I have made up

thanks for the vote of confidence josh, but as this is a video game, it's not really needed

Well unless the 2001 Toronto Maple Leafs were any good, it is still relevant since the game sort of bases it off of real players on the team. If the player sticks in real life, chances are they probably are not good in the game either.
Then again, you could overcome any terribleness through pure video gaming skill.

Your welcome Charlie. Just telling you from my experience. I know it is a video game. Just I would have picked the Calgary Flames if I had this NHL video game. But I would only make Calgary Flames as the best team. But I am guessing everyone has their favorite team. If it is the Toronto Maple Leafs or whatever team it may be

Re: New NHL 2002 players
again, this is just a game, the stats and rosters were valid at the time the game was made, and many of the team standings, stats, and rosters are no longer current or valid

That is very true. But you can create players to add to your team. You can also make trades and change the lineups on your team. I only know this since I have did this on NBA 2K12. Sorry that is off topic. But it is still the same no matter if it is a hockey or basketball video game

well, yes, that is what sports games allow, so it kind of ties in, if it is not totally relevant

Well I do love NBA video games that I play on PS2. I am currently doing a short 29 game season and playoffs with the Toronto Raptors. I have played every game so far. I am 12-0. But that is because all of my players are the best on my team. Anyways Charlie must do different stuff on his hockey video game with the Toronto Maple Leafs

I suppose there is no right way to play a video game. As long as you have fun that is all that counts.
Anyone have any plans to get any of the newer consoles (I.e PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox one)?
Re: New NHL 2002 players
I've been looking at a PS3, but there's no stores that carry them much anymore in my area

Well I would only get a new PlayStation if the price is good for me. I know these new systems cost a lot of money. I know a PS3 would be cheaper than a PS4. I am still happy with my PS2. But I am sure if I did get a new system it would be a PS3 a very good price. If it was on sale it would be even better

well, considering the PS2 is now rare, it may be only a matter of time before you're forced to upgrade.

Try a gamestop, a pawn shop or online. All these places are likely to still a ps3, even if it is used.

A ps4 runs for about 300 bucks at your local walmart. Atleast here in the states anyway.

They discontinued games for the ps2 years ago. They just now phased out and are completely stopping with making new ps3 games to try get folks to upgrade.

Well I am sure it some where close to that at Wal Mart here in Canada too. I know PS3 would be cheaper than that since it is a older system. I am still happy with a PS2. But if I did have to upgrade I would get a PS3 since it would be more cheaper than a PS4. But still my PS2 is still working and I still play the same NBA basketball games on there

Re: New NHL 2002 players
well, the more you use the ps2, the sooner it will wear out and stop working, but for me, a PS3 is as far as i will go, and i will try as hard as i can to get the hard drive upgrade, as the larger hard drive allows reverse play ability. however, this has strayed us from the thread topic

It is close enough to the topic.
Well Walmart doesn't sell ps3's anymore so you will have to go to a gamestop (if you guys have them in canada) or a pawn shop to get one.
Re: New NHL 2002 players
maybe, but sometimes one gets lucky at walmart, that's how i got my ps one
