Stream.me Shuts down

Hello everyone,

I just found out today that another streaming website has bit the dust, the website stream.me has permanently shut down.

From what I hear there was some lawsuit over use of unlicensed software they were using to run their streams, which led to the sudden closure.

I have never used the site, but I heard it was a decent site.

I would like to hear your thoughts on stream.me and what you guys think of the closure.

RIP Streamme I guess.

it's a shame i remember using that site back in late 2016.

I never used it, so I don't really know how good or bad of a site it was.

I didn't know that this site was in existence until now, but its a shame to see that the streaming world has lost another site.

i use to cast there back in 2016 up until i found out about camup and then Left stream.me but it was a good site despite the Lawsuit.

I also never heard of it until now. What was the layout like there Aaron?

i have a screen shot and here is what it looks like i think this is from 2017.

Looked a lot like twitch or vaughnlive then.

less like twitch it was mainly what blogtv.ca was suppose to be built on but never happened Stream.me had it's own Layout but i think the thing that there being sued for is the multi stream option cuz that software didn't exists on other sites before there being sued for a technology that they where not suppose to have.

Well it kind of resembles how Twitch and Vaughn look, although Vaughn was more or less trying to copy the twitch layout as much as possible. That is a different discussion altogether though.

ya it does kind of but twitch has more of a purple layout with there dark theme stream.me was more black also when they had a light mode it didn't always fit for one there chat always stayed in dark mode unlike twitch it is consistent across the board.
