The best place to buy a mixer from?
Hello everyone,
I am wondering what you guys think is the best place to buy a mixer/mixing board from? Is there any particular store or website you guys have had good luck with? What is the place that you have found to have the best prices and selection?
I look forward to seeing what you guys think .

I know your older one is from RadioShack since it is a Radioshack brand mixer.
Re: The best place to buy a mixer from?
oh yeah but if people want a really good mixer people would have to go to guitar Center or Sam Ash if they have that by them or even shop online like amazon that's also another place to look as well
Re: The best place to buy a mixer from?
Well yeah, Radioshack is out of the question since it is out of business now (except for their online store which is still up).
Any other retailers you know of that carry mixers?

Re: The best place to buy a mixer from?
well 10 actually but they list it under a 5 channel mixer cuz 3/4 5/6 and 7/8 and 9/10 are stereo channels but can also be used as MONO as well 9/10 is used from the 2-Track out for a CD Player or turntable or Tape Deck and or MiniDisc i use the turntable on the 2-Track out it's a good mixer and to be honest with you mine was $100 bucks when i got mine so the price went up on it the only difference with the one pictured is just the fader color it's actually the same mixer and with the Battery option you can't go wrong when you want to use it where there is no power not that i have used it but it's a nice feature
Re: The best place to buy a mixer from?
Let me ask you this though, do you actually use all the channels on the mixer though?
Re: The best place to buy a mixer from?
all of them are filled at the moment yes except mic channel 2 that's not filled but all the inputs i use are filled at this point in time the 2nd channel is only used if i need to run a guest mic that's about it everything else is full if that's what you wanted to know
Re: The best place to buy a mixer from?
What are they filled with? The only thing I could think you would need is your microphone, record player, cd player, pc and that's it.
Re: The best place to buy a mixer from?
Channel 1 is my main mic Channel 2 is guest mic channel 3/4 is the PC 5/6 is CD Player 1 7/8 is CD Player 2 9/10 is the Turntable and that's all i have on there and it's filled and i have 4 other mic inputs as well if i wanted to run more mics

Wow 10 channels is a lot of channels, must be quite the set up you got going on over there.

Re: The best place to buy a mixer from?
for a Behringer mixer that's compact it's not bad all tho the mic channels can't be used at the same time as the stereo inputs only 1 and 2 can be used in that operation all other inputs i have to use one or the other just not at the same time 3/4 5/6 7/8 and 9/10 are stereo/mic inputs the other 3 are not phantom powered just 1 and 2 the other 3 are just for Low powered Dynamic Mics just like 1 and 2 are i just don't crank my dynamic mic cuz it will clip easy so i try to keep it at the 11 o'clock position for the Shure SM48 cuz it does clip easy
