Defintelly not.. before the start of this season, the walking dead was renewed for another 10 seasons by AMC.

that may be just a rumor, because they've pretty well done everything possible now

I doubt it's a rumor, I got it from direct 1 on 1 source (real life person) who watches the show. He hates rumors as well. If there is a will there is a way... if the show makes money, they will find a way to drag it out.

well, if it makes it to season 10, few will watch it after season 6

That is not true 1 bit, the show's  fanbase is unbelievably HUGE, as long the show is still being aired, people will watch it (at least in the states) there are whole FORUMS that are bigger then this one focused JUST on the Walking Dead (comics and the show). So sorry, you may not watch it, but there will always be people watching it (like me).

Ah... but we still do not know what will be i  Washington! It could be another dead end, they know it probably has HIGHER chance of some sort of survival due to the security measures most likely put in place there. They are just going off of Eugene's calculations (which we still don't know what those are). So really they could find ANYTHING there.

maybe, but the dead end idea has been done already back at season 1 end, so it's doubtful they will do that again

Well, if you ask me, the show will not end until the Zombies are somehow ALL killed or a cure is found and the apocalyse is ended. Otherwise it will be another LOST, we do not want that.

I agree 100% bgradio. They should at least show us the end of the Apocalayse before ending the show. It is true, who knows what they will find in Washington. New episode is tonight, I reckon we will find out whats up with new guy!

They will likely show the how it ends, it is not going to be: "Oh we're at Washington, we could never ever get attacked by Zombie here" and they all lived happilly ever after. No they make sure there is an obstacle, hazard or somethkng else in Washingtoj  that will make the show go on, probably eventually have to leave Washington... yata yata. But I think at Washington they will find soke major clues and information that may help find a cure (an actual cure) then when they leave, they just wonder around how ever long it takes create it and spread it around. That is what Ithink theycwill do, or something similar.

the search for a cure has been pretty much given up from the look of it, but it's possible that it may come back. even though the show has begun to drag pretty heavy lately

If thag doctor from the Atlanta hospital has joined the group, then there is definitelly a strong chnace they can find a real cure, he is a REAL doctor, so he knows at least some of the science stuff. That is why I say they probably circle back to it. They will defeintly not leave us i  the dark I am sur, no show would do that after LOST.

we still have to wait and see what happens, the cure may not even be the cure everyone is hoping for

After last night's episode, things are getting weird, so they are close to Washington, however, they meet this new guy and even though Rick acts cautiously it turns out he is telling the truth. Is there still the possibility he could be trapping them? I mean yes the guy and his friend himself do not seem as if they intend to harm them, but what about the people in this new place (I mean the people running it/leading it). The Governor played all nice guy in public to his community then turned evil when he was not around his community. I still think this guy and his friends are suspicious, are worth keeping an eye on.

I think the leaders will be, it will turn out like the Governors place and sort of like Terminus (just hope not as crazy). This season has definitelly been full twists and turns! They appear to be perging characters too!

It is a trap, I can see already, did anyone notice the lack of activity and/or people at that enterance? Something fishy is going on there.
