What mics do you use?

Here's a general question; what microphones brands and models do you use?

For general purpose and miking my guitar amp in my recording studio, I use a Shure SM58, Yoga DM520, or Audio-Technica ATR2100USB.
For general purpose on my standard computer, I use an Audio-Technica AT2020USB.
For miking my bass amp, I use an Audix F15 and a CAD bass drum mic.
For miking my drum kit, I use drum microphones that came in a pack made by CAD.

for discord and youtube videos i use an ATR2500-USB and i use a Pyle Branded Yeti Mic For Shows and the guest mic in studio i own a wireless Samson mic for when i have guest's on the show easy to connect to my 10 Channel live sound studio mixer.

The only Mic that I have is a snowball mic that my friend gave me but I use it for when I stream or do recordings with my friends.

Bit of an update from me here, I use the built-in mic on my Logitech C290 HD camera for skype but I use the mic on my Logitech G320 headset for BGRN shows.

Is that one of the Yeti brand mics or it's own brand?

Pyle is a budget brand for DJ And Live sound basically anything to do with that but the mic didn't cost alot so it was worth it

Cool! I know you like your microphone a lot.

i do it's a good sounding mic even tho the construction is made of plastic but it makes up for it with good sound

Unfortunately my Win 10 PC is being a pain at present and isn't letting me use the mic on my G320 headset, but I am managing without... for now.

The microphone in your profile pic, how was that?

that mic was an older radio shack mic from 2010 it was an alright mic until it broke on a show back in early 2018 then i had to get the one you see on the show now i could have just used the wireless one but that requires me to change a 9V battery every show and i didn't want to do that

i'm now using an Shure SM48 good mic heavy good quality this is the first shure product i have ever owned Mic wise so far i'm liking it

Would you say the new mic is better than your old one?

oh yes alot better it sounds good too from what i heard in the archive recordings of the show

$32 Dollars cuz it was the july 4th sale

it was in the $50 Dollar range i think.

yep not bad if your on a budget and don't want to spend alot of money on a mic

I remain without an operable show mic at present. I'm not liking this too much tbh but such continues to be a low priority.

Your old microphone (the one your brother took back), was what brand TTF?

what brand of mic did art use before he had to give it back.
