Hello everyone,

I know the Walking Dead is currently a very popular TV Show (on AMC), so I figured I would create a topic just for Walking Dead Discussions!

You can post anything relating to the Walking Dead here. Discussion related to it's spin off show Fear The Walking Dead or it's comedy after show Talking Dead are also permitted in this topic.

I agree that I think we will get to see Alexandria's reaction to what has happened in tonight's episode. Which I will not get to watch live due to having to work. No spoilers unless they are in spoiler tags.

well, all i can say for sure is that if my military friend was in this situation, he would be fighting as hard as he could for as long as he could

Well another partially mild episode. Basically learning that Neegan is an evil dictator even with his own people. Daryl is not surprisingly, still being stubborn as possible.

They couldn't. It is not like they saw Neegan until they were sorrounded by hundreds of Neegan's men and were vastily out numbered.

What are you talking about? Alexandria, or atleast Rick has conceded defeat essentially. There huge arsenal of weapons are all but gone now. There is no way they could beat them in their current state now.

well, Rosita and the rest are going to mount a rebellion from what the last episode has put together

Yeah and it will be stiffled by Rick. I previously would have said they may have had a shot at it, when they still had enough ammo and weapons and to run a small militia.

Now they are down to like 3 or 4 guns. What the heck you gonna do with 3 or 4 guns? Kill walkers? Big deal! They have no chance. Their only huge stash of weapons is gone, all gone. They have no shot.

that's not going to stop them from trying, i think even michonne is in on the rebellion, and i would think my friend in the Military, even though he's soon to be former Military, would be in on the rebellion also

Brandon is right, as much as I hate to say it after all this group as been through and after they had been unstoppable for so long, they really are in a position where even they tried they would lose. They have 4 guns and like very little ammo now (though that shouldn't be a problem since they have a genius inventor dude there Eugene), so a rebellion if it does happen is A LONG way off. Michone probably was going to until Rick shared his story as to why he is going along with everyone.

Bottomline: Unless it starts raining guns and ammo, or unless Eugene can make guns like he can bullets, then Alexandria is stuck in this situation for a LONG time. If there is going to be any rebellion, it will probably be against Rick and very short lived as Michone and most of the original group are very loyal to him and will not allow anyone to harm him.

By the way, what do we think about Daryl? Is he beginning to crack and become loyal to Neegan, or is he just playing along and just buying himself and Alexandria time and also try to gain insight and knowledge about their real base so that if the time came he could assist Alexandria defeat them (if they by some miracle re build back up their weapons stash and stuff) .

I agree Alexandria and the originals in Rick's group are all fighters and will not back down from a fight easily. But they are also smart and know they have to wait until the right time when they can get more weapons, ammo and have the right opporunitity which is still a long way away probably.

well, either way, Rosita and co are going to mount a rebellion with or without rick's permission, and knowing Daryl, and his mannerisms, he's not going to break down at all, he's been through too much to give up now. and my military friend wouldn't be one to give up either, he'd keep fighting no matter the cost, which i think Daryl is doing

How can you mount a rebellion with NO WEAPONS! You can't! They have like no guns now! You cant just march into his well foritifed and secured and largely numbered base with 4 guns and think your going to get very far. If they are going to do a rebellion, it is a long way off as they first would have to find a way to sneak more weapons in again without Neegan and his men noticing.

well it's going to happen either way, and if my military friend was there, he'd be taking part, or possibly leading it, but that's only if it were a real situation and not just a TV show.

I guess we will have to wait and see, but I can almost assure you it will not be happening for a little while. Maybe by the season ender we will see it or next season opener, but who knows. We still have 3 seasons to go for the creators to figure out if and how Rick and them will get out of this.

You mean a lead up to an epic episode.

Carl and Jesus are going to ruin this whole thing for everyone, if he fails. If he succeeds they will get great intel on their main base which could help with an attack in the future.

It is also good to know the hilltop is still around.

I agree. Unfornatelly Alexandria is not ready or properly equipped to go to war at the moment. There are so many ways it can go wrong at the moment.

I think they need to collect their intel, very carefully, then sit back and quietly build up their stash and when they are ready, they can team up with Hilltop and the kingdom and together they should hopefully have enough man power to beat them. All three groups allying with each other I think is their best way of defeating Neegan and his men.

First they need to take time to rebuild their stash though.
