Hello everyone,

I know the Walking Dead is currently a very popular TV Show (on AMC), so I figured I would create a topic just for Walking Dead Discussions!

You can post anything relating to the Walking Dead here. Discussion related to it's spin off show Fear The Walking Dead or it's comedy after show Talking Dead are also permitted in this topic.

just watched the season7 end, was a bit disappointing, should have killed Neegan, and stop dragging it out, if they keep on this way with the long, and needless drawn out drama, i may turn it off permanently and give up on it, the whole idea is getting played out anyway. but RIP to one devoted Alexandrian.

Well that was quite the shocking episode. The fight has begun. Whether Alexandria will be able to come back and win, we shall find out next season.

well yes, but if it drags anymore next season, that may be my end of watching the show entirely.

Come on, even you can't deny that they left this season in an interesting spot.

I mean I think we all know Rick is going to live, he practically THEE main character so he lives no matter what, thats not the question of the cliff hanging episode. Question is, can Alexandria rebound from this unexpected betrayal from this other group and come back and overpower both them and Neegan's men and finish what they started.

I mean now we know the kingdom is on their side now officially, so that will give them many more numbers to fight with, plus whatever fighters remain commited at the hilltop.

i am just getting tired of the needless drama, this "fight to survive" motif going now is getting old very quickly, as many others have stated, and have already given up on it

Why would you be tired of it? That is literally what the show is all about?

everybody is tired of it, that's why they are turning it off., and i may do the same if it continues

What are you talking about? Not everybody is tired of it. In fact that is what people love about it.

I mean you do realize that it is a show based solely around SURVIVAL. If the characters aren't FIGHTING for SURVIVAL, then what do you prepose is the purpose of the show then?

When you turn on the walking dead, what do you expect to see in an episode? Rick and everyone laying back in lawn chairs in Alexandria drinking smoothies without a care in the world? No!

I mean come on mtvfan, it is the apocalypse for darn sake. Do you think in the apocalypse people shouldn't be fighting for survival? I mean that is what people do in apocalypses.

I don't see what you mean when you say your tired of seeing the characters have to fight to survive. THAT IS LITERALLY WHAT THE SHOW IS ABOUT! It is what the show has been about since day 1. I don't know what else you expect to see in a walking dead episode?

granted, but the show is getting very slow, and needs an infusion of more action but the season 6 ender was ok, king Zeke's tiger was awesome, but i think that could have been a bit better, because a tiger would be able to maul someone to pieces if it attacked in real life.

The season 8 trailer is out. Its a long one too, for once. What do we gather from it about it the season?

i still think this will be the last season for many, as they feel this show has become a "Zombie soap" and is no longer worth watching, I myself will be watching, but if the dragging seasons continue, i will also stop watching, and i still say Neegan should die at some point in this new season

I will keep watching no matter what. They will always drag seasons out. Thats what alot of tv shows do.

Anyway, what do we gather from the trailer?

the dragging and lagging is turning a lot of people away, they're tired of the constantly needless drama and "make do" mentality, and i am inclined to agree, so if season 8 continues to the dragging, it will be the last season that i will ever watch.

Alot tv shows drag out their seasons 1mtvfan. Its not exclusive to the walking dead.

Now moving from the dragging out of the seasons. What do you think we will see from this season based on the trailer?

I think we know, not suprisingly that Rick survives, as well as Neegan. It appears the battle at Alexandria doesnt mark the end for either group and it appears that in the end Alexandria, hilltop and the Kingdom all unite to try to over take Neegan.

What do you think? That is what I gathered from it though.

my point has been missed again, what i mean is that the whole vibe of "eek out an existence with what we've got and protect it" is getting old and tiresome, so many are turning it off, and i may do the same if season 8 turns out to be a another long and drawn out slog.

Your response still doesn't tell us what you think is going to happen this season based on the trailer.

I think Neegan is gonna be going down.

Holy cow! Why is so difficult answer a simple question: WHAT DO YOU THINK WILL HAPPEN THIS SEASON BASED ON THE TRAILER? That is all me and Brandon have asked 5 times. Instead of answering you repeat the same garbage over and over again.

We got your post the 1st point. Now can you PLEASE just answer our question: What do you think with happen this season based on the trailer?

i resolve it to wait and see, but if this season is another agonizingly slow slog, it will be my last season of this show

1 more month and the walking dead returns, I can't wait.

i may be stitching to watch Z nation full time and give up on this show
