lake trip pics?

1mtvfan and myself are back from the trip now, and we had a great time (as always). 
Unfortunately there are no pics but most of you have seen the holiday campground we go to on here already.

got back yesterday, no wood splitting this year because of the heat, which is understandable, there's no point in working that hard on such a hot day

There has been some talk of 1mtvfan & myself going back on the September long weekend but such remains a 50/50 deal at this point.

What do you guys cut wood for normally. Surely you can't need heat in the peak of summer?

campfire pit is what the wood is used for mostly

Just find sticks and leaves they burn just fine in firepits.

as kindling, yes, but the fire needs something bigger if you want to keep it going a while.

Well I am glad it was a good trip and both of you had a good time. But you do need wood for the fire pit if it is just sticks or big pieces of wood. But you got to keep the fire going some how. It is ok there was no pictures from the second trip. I did like the pictures from the first trip

well, there's not much new for all you guys to see, you've seen most of the area already

but it was more fun this year as TTfan, myself and our mom got to stay an extra weekend.

well the august long weekend wasn't very nice, so my mom's friend invited us for the next weekend after, which turned out to be hot and full of sun, so that's what made it fun, iu took my Arsenal fleece blanket in both visits, although it was only used once, i was glad i brought it.

Well I am glad the weather was better the second time you went. I just hope you didn't get sun burnt at all with being so hot. Hopefully you can sun screen to put on too

I was meaning to say to put sun screen on when it is real hot outside. Since you can get sun burnt and being sunburnt does hurt a lot. That is what I was trying to say. I hope you got it

well, i wasn't outside in the sun much, so i really didn't need much sun protection, but that's now part of the pas summer, as the resort is now closed for the year

Well there is always next summer that it could be another lake trip but that will be a long time from now. Hopefully it is a good trip too

i have also heard talk recently that some property owners may be selling, but at this point it is only speculation at best

Well that may be happening but it is up to those owners if they want to sell it or not. But you don't know if it is really happening or not

It turns out that 1mtvfan and myself did not go to the campground on the September long weekend. Its not that big of a deal however and we're trying to be cautiously optimistic about Summer 2019.
