Hello all, have some bad news to share (as of 1:05PM CDST on 7/20/2022).
I've received news that one of the roads that I use to reach the campground is now completely closed due to flooding.
Unfortunately I have no other news to share at this time but I'll do what I can to keep you all informed.

There has been a few developments in relation to the 2022 lake trip. My mother has submitted a tentative timeline for this trip, but nothing has been set in stone as yet. As usual I will do what I can to keep you all informed.

I have some more developments in relation to the 2022 lake trip.
The previously mentioned timeline had myself, my twin brother and our mother taking the aforementioned trip over the August Long Weekend (which is a yearly event that takes place in Canada). Other plans have forced us to scrap this however, but there's a chance that this will happen on the weekend after. As usual I will do what I can to keep everyone on here informed.

Hello again everyone, got some more updates to share about the 2022 lake trip *as of 6:40PM CDST on 7/31/2022).

According to what I've been recently told, the plan is for me and my associated crew are to head out for the trip on Friday, August 5th and return from it on Monday August 8th. The 2nd half of this this trip takes place between Thursday, August 11th and Sunday, August 14th. Unfortunately such is only in its early stages at this time however, and it can always get bumped due to other priorities.

As usual I will do what I can to keep all of you informed.

Hello everyone, got some happy news to share (as of 7:04PM CDST on 8/3/2022).

The 2022 trip is on folks!!! There's some prep work left to be done, but it will be finished in time for the three of us to be on our way before nightfall on 8/5/2022.

Just got back from the 1st leg of my 2022 lake trip (as of 7:00PM CDST on 8/8/2022)!!! I had a great time as usual, but found myself missing the people who would take me on boat rides and include me in all of the regular duties of the campground (such as tidying the communal firewood pile up). As I mentioned before, the 2nd (and last) leg of this trip will be happening this weekend (from Thursday, August 11th to Sunday, August 14th). In regards to the part about this being the last time I go to the place known as Green Bay Resort, I need to say that there are a number of complications (the details of which I've promised to not discuss for the immediate future) which have made this 100% unlikely for a while.

Unfortunately, due to some unforeseen complications (the details of which I'm sworn to secrecy about), the 2nd and last part of the 2022 edition of my lake trip has been shortened to 3 days. I am a tad disappointed about this but the situation that I mentioned in the post previous to this one is important and needs to be dealt with first. I am pleased that I can travel there again however, as such an opportunity doesn't happen all that often.

As usual I will do what I can to keep everyone on here informed.

Hello everyone!
I got home from my 2nd and last trip to Green Bay Resort around 6:30PM CDST yesterday (8/14/2022) but decided to keep my computer off for the rest of that evening. I had an absolute blast during this trip regardless and am saddened to know that there's not enough time or supplies to go there again this year. Surprisingly I am able to spend the coming weekend (Friday, August 19th, 2022 to Sunday, August 2st, 2022) in a rented 5-bedroom cabin at the place known as Delta Beach. Sadly there's not as much to see at this location like Green Bay Resort but, on the upside, there's not as many rules.

That would be good idea there. I would like to see how the trips went and there is any more planned for you before the summer is over

Today (8/19/2022) is the day I go on my last road trip of the summer but, due to some frustrating and ridiculous rules (at least imo), I am unable to enter the campground until the afternoon. I am trying to stay calm and find other things to do while waiting however.

I have returned from my last trip of summer 2022 now and, aside from some greatly disliked and unwanted but unavoidable BS at its beginning, the trip went well overall. My brother and his family also stopped by for a beach day during the trip and I managed to find fragments of what may be Bison bones too. Unfortunately this trip is the last road trip of the summer of 2022, but such cannot be helped. Such also means that this thread will go dormant for the rest of the year, but can't be helped either. As for the future, its looking more and more likely that trips to Green Bay Resort will come to a permanent end and, while its a sad thing, its not entirely unexpected.

Regardless of what happens, I will do what I can to keep everyone on here informed.

While there's little news to share at present (1:10PM CST on 2/15/2023), I am looking forward t another road trip season.

Obviously its still too cold & early in the new year to make any road trips to the campground at present, but I feel a need to say that the process to find a replacement trailer is well under way. Unfortunately such is quite limited (due to a set price range) but, surprisingly, my twin brother and I have managed to find a few trailers in the price range mentioned earlier (no purchase has been made yet however). Interestingly, we may accompany the buyer in physically viewing the trailer to be purchased but such hasn't been determined at this time.

I will do what I can to keep everyone on here informed regardless of what happens however.

Hello all, hope the last month of so has been going reasonably well for all of you (considering a number of things).

Unfortunately there's not a lot of updates to share here, but I have been conversing with a friend of mine regarding trailers as of late. So far there's been little progress in this department but I remain optimistic about the near future.

Just letting you know that, sadly, there's no progress in terms of this matter. Its early in the season however so there's plenty of time to change this.
The situation regarding trailer replacement and placement remains unresolved as well

don't have much to say here (as of 5:10PM CST on 6/4/2023) but the details for plans for travelling to both Green Bay Resort and a place called Delta Beach have yet to be ironed out. I continue to search for a replacement camping trailer, but the person who has expressed interest in doing this hasn't made a decision on this matter yet. As usual I will do what I can to keep everyone on here informed.

Hello everyone, have some updates to share with you at present.
While I will be going to Green Bay Resort and Delta Beach again this summer, I must regretfully say that there will be no cats coming with us to the first place. 
Such is the case because my mother's friend had her last cat (named Fenix) put to sleep today (6/15/2023). 
While its not the first time that this has happened, I can honestly and openly admit that I will miss having him keep me company on the trip to this place.
