Logitech C920 Pro Webcam
First topic message reminder :
Hello guys,
I recently got a new hd webcam for my set up. The webcam I got is the Logitech C920 Pro Webcam, which is one of Logitech's better webcams from what I can tell. The webcam is normally $50 dollars, but I got it for only $15 on clearance, which was the main reason I bought it. I plan to use it in conjunction with my built in webcam.
I have already tested the new webcam, and I gotta say for the most part it is an improvement from the built in cam, the color is more realistic and clearer and details are crisper (as they should be with a 1080p resolution cam). The only 2 things for me that are down side is the fact that the lens are not as wide angeled as my built in one (only 78 degrees according to the box) and so it has a narrower field of view. The 2nd downside I have with it, is that it does not perform well in dim light, when i have my flashing led lights going right behind me, the webcam is only able to make out a silhouette instead of my actual face, something even my built in webcam can do.
Overall though I am satisified with the webcam and would recommend it to anyone wanting a good, high definition webcam.
Do any of you have any experience with this webcam? If so, what are your thoughts on it?

Re: Logitech C920 Pro Webcam
As of 3/25/2020, I still use a Logitceh C290 webcam for my BGRN show and it continues to function without any problems whatsoever.

Re: Logitech C920 Pro Webcam
People have been harassing me about a webcam-related issue recently but I've managed to ignore these.

Why? You don't like your hd cam on Skype?
Re: Logitech C920 Pro Webcam
i use mine for video calls once and a while and it's the only cam i ever use anyways then again i use mine for everything.
Re: Logitech C920 Pro Webcam
I feel that its a lot easier to have a cam for Skype as well as a cam for my BGRN shows. I know that its not hard to change things but its a hassle that I for one can very much do without.

Re: Logitech C920 Pro Webcam
oh it is when your streaming your video and audio are mixed together when your live but when you look at the settings your audio is very much on it's own settings but is mixed together with the video stream tho i wouldn't touch your audio to much you might make a rookie Mistake
Re: Logitech C920 Pro Webcam
I've managed to get things tuned to what I want, and am trying to make sure that I leave things alone.DJAaronRadio wrote:oh it is when your streaming your video and audio are mixed together when your live but when you look at the settings your audio is very much on it's own settings but is mixed together with the video stream tho i wouldn't touch your audio to much you might make a rookie Mistake

Re: Logitech C920 Pro Webcam
the only time i ever touch the slider in OBS is when my over all volume is to high other then that i let my mixer handle the rest
Re: Logitech C920 Pro Webcam
i never touch my slider in OBS much since i use a mixer for shows now for People that use stereo mix you kind of have to move the slider to where you want it me most of the time i don't even move it unless windows had updated my audio drivers and pegged it to full in OBS then i have to go about adjusting it again it can be a real pain.
Re: Logitech C920 Pro Webcam
Getting back to the main topic, my Logitceh C920 webcam is still working well and remains as the video source for my BGRN shows (as of 8:45 AM CDST on 5/27/2020).

Re: Logitech C920 Pro Webcam
I'm sure that such is to be expected by now, but my Logitceh C920 webcam remains the primary source for the video of my BGRN show (as of 9:15 AM CDST on 6/20/2020).
