Re: Train sets!
Hello everyone, hope you're all staying safe!
I was able to find a diagram of how a heavyweight 12-1 sleeping car is set up. Just follow the link below.
http://modelingthesp.blogspot.com/2018/02/my-pullman-projects-part-2.html
This diagram also shows what the interior of a heavyweight 8-1-2 sleeper looks like.
I will do what I can to keep you all informed about the progress of the Phoenix Line's development, but I've suffered a significant tragedy in my life recently (as of 9:50 AM CST on 3/30/2020) and I need some time to psychologically recover from it.

Hello everyone.
Once again I don't have a lot to report here (as of 4:35 PM CST on 4/6/2020) but the transport of grain and malt barley continues.

Re: Train sets!
Once again there is little to report in terms of activity on the railroad at this time (as of 6:50 PM CDST on 4/10/2020), but I will say that the loading and transport of malt barley and grain continues. Sadly there has been a bit of a dispute among the Elevator Switcher crews recently, but this has been resolved now.
Further updates will be posted when there is more information gathered.

Re: Train sets!
Hello everyone, got a sad update here.
As of 7:20 PM CDST on 4/1/2020, all operations on the Phoenix Line are suspended until further notice. Such is due to a faulty set of switch points that allow access to the railroad's main yard at Hillside.
Such is a critical set of switch points but these cannot be replaced at this time to the world's current health crisis as it has created a personnel shortage.
As always, I will do my best to keep you all informed.

Re: Train sets!
Hello everyone here's another small update (as of 10:30 AM CDST on 4/15?2020):
The railroad has managed to ship some carloads of grain and malt barley, but the issue with some switching points has persisted and forced the railroad to suspend operations again. Unfortunately the lack of service personnel means that this problem may continue to exist for a while, but nothing is certain at this particular time.
Please stay tuned for further updates, as I will do what I can to keep you all informed.

Re: Train sets!
Hello everyone! Here's another small update (as of 8:20 AM CDST on 4/17/2020):
The switching points problems have been solved (at least for now), and operations have resumed. So far these are only the loading and transport of grain and malt barley but such may change at some point in the near future. Sadly there are no updates regarding some locomotives and the former CP Rail work service cars to report at this time but I will try to keep you all informed.

Re: Train sets!
Hello everyone,
No major updates to report today, but I will say that keeping tabs on the Phoenix Line is helping me overcome a MAJOR tragedy that happened to me (as of 2:30PM CDST on 4/14/2020). Getting back to the railroad, I will continue to try and keep you all informed of any major developments on this front.

Re: Train sets!
Do you have any pictures of the current train set? I don't think we have seen the entire train set yet since it was moved.
Re: Train sets!
I did post a few pictures of the new setup on here on the 29th of February and March 1st 2020. These can be found on page 5 of this particular thread.Brandon wrote:Do you have any pictures of the current train set? I don't think we have seen the entire train set yet since it was moved.

Re: Train sets!
No, there has been no work on the set due to all of the BS in the world atm. My father's spring to fall employment obligations are also a factor in thisBrandon wrote:Have you guys done any work to the train set since your last pictures?
