lake trip pics?

I hope so too, but almost all of the trips to this trailer park have been very enjoyable overall. However, as I said earlier in this thread, 2021 may be the last time I go to and spend time at this park though as my mother's teacher friend has said that she wants to sell the lot she's renting and purchase one that doesn't need as much travel time (as one of her cats HATES being stuffed in a travel case). There is a piece of land for sale at a beach as we speak, but no final decision has been made yet.

Thankfully the van situation has been sorted out now (with the purchase of a brand new one) but I honestly don't know any more details at this time (as of 9:20 AM Central Daylight Saving Time on 9/1/2020).

if it is the last trip next year hope it is a good one

I apologize for inadvertently sounding like a broken record here, but it remains 100% impossible to say if 2021 will be the last time I (as well as my mother and twin brother) will go to this lake or such trips will continue. Such is the case because the trailer's owner has yet to make a final decision on the situation. While I can understand why she wants to leave, the place is definitely an interesting and quiet place (for the most part anyway).

Well I hope it works out for whoever does go on this trip. It is Charlie and your mom or whoever is deciding to go on this lake trip. It looks like a fun lake trip from the pictures

The situation remains unclear as of 12:55 PM CDST on 9/6/2020. Such isn't entirely unexpected either, as several of life's other priorities and all of the BS in currently in the world (much to my continued frustration) are dominating all discussion.

Unfortunately the situation regarding my summer lake trips continuing or getting permanently discontinued remains unresolved as of 7:05 PM Central Daylight Saving Time on 9/15/2020. I'm not overly bothered by this however, as there are other priorities to focus on (such as my 40th birthday and Christmas, for example).

Hello everyone,
It probably doesn't come as a surprise to anyone, but the situation regarding my summer lake trips continues to remain unresolved as of 1:50 PM CDST on 10/6/2020. Such is due to the summer being over & trying to prepare for a very limited Thanksgiving (which, according to the Canadian Government, has officially been cancelled). I will also admit that completing a renovation project has taken some priority over this matter as well.

With these two factors in mind, I have decided to limit the frequency of posts in this thread. It doesn't mean that I won't post in here at all however, and I'll do what I can to keep everyone informed.

Such has probably come to be expected now, but the situation regarding my summer lake trips continues to remain unresolved as of 9:20 AM CDST on 10/19/2020. It sucks but the focus continues to be on other priorities related to the seasons. As usual I'll do what I can to keep you all informed.

I doubt that they will be discontinued, just suspended until my mother's teacher friend can find another place to keep a trailer lot. She has expressed interest in purchasing a lot in a place called Delta Beach, which is a lot closer to the city that she and I live in (its a 1.5 hour drive opposed to the 2 hour drive that needs to be done in order to reach her current summer vacation place). She has not actually purchased this lot yet however, and this has created some confusion as to what's going to happen in the coming year. As usual I will do what I can to keep those on here informed of any developments.

Hello everyone, here are some updates about this particular matter (as of 12:35PM on 5/4/2021):

Sadly the situation regarding the plot of land at the other beach/lake didn't pan out but, on the upside, regular trips to the original lake will continue for the time being. Unfortunately some of the other people who were renting lots in the trailer park have decided to sell out and move away but this appears to be an on-going event due to this park's management. I've also learned that my mother's teacher friend will be retiring soon and plans to make the trailer park her permanent home.

Frustratingly all of the BS currently in the world has made an appearance too, and such (along with a personal issue which I will NOT discuss) has put a bit of a damper on my general opinion on this matter but I for one am still looking forward to this trip.

Thanks for the update Arthur on the lake trip. It looks like it won't work out at all. But there is always next year if it is any better or not

I didn't say that there wouldn't be a trip to this place this year. Such is a LOT more complicated now however, due to all of the BS currently in the world at present.

Hello all, need to correct a mistake that I made in one of my earlier posts on this thread. My mother's teacher friend is NOT planning to make her lakeside trailer her permanent home after retiring from teaching. I apologize for this mistake.
