Camup General Discussion

First topic message reminder :

Hello everyone,

I make this topic today to help us get a discussion on Camup.tv going.

Camup is a pretty good site, it has both html5 and flash video players, a decent chat, free stream keys and even guest cams (though you have to become a 'donator' to activate this now)

Do any of you guys use Camup? How do you like it? I will provide my experience with it in the next post.

Thanks Aaron and Frank. I do my best to add a good collection of different music for my show including my favorite songs from TobyMac. I do play City On Our Knees from TobyMac a good amount since it is a great song and I love it. I also feel it is a great song to end my show on. I am glad to see that you and Frank are enjoying my show. I am glad to be part of Cam Up. Been great on there with good amount of viewers and getting featured more than once when I am which is always a good thing

Indeed Josh, you always have a good mix of music on your shows .

having a good mix of music is always good to have me i try to mix it up each show with tunes so people don't get bored with the same mix of music like one show i might change up the order of the list and try to ad new songs into the mix and sometimes it can be a hard thing to do when Djing like now i try to add stuff i have not played before and or has been on the back burner for a long time

I try to do this as well, but it can be tough to find music at times (at least for me anyway).

I always mix up the tunes as best I can. I never know what I am going to play until I play it.

I will be adding new music to my playlists for my shows on the weekend. I will be adding songs from 2020 to my playlist I will make for my shows. I do love the classic songs as I do love add them in there. I will add in new songs and classic songs for a good mix of music. Just a little tough when I have very little time to make a quick playlist then I just put in whatever songs are good songs and I do like them. That is why my shows had more classic songs last weekend. I am hoping to adding in songs from 2020 into my playlists. Just to have some new music added in there. I am glad Brandon, Aaron, and Frank are enjoying my shows. I do my best to play great music on my shows. Just the problem with playing songs on Spotify it does play ads with only being free version. I would have get Spotify Premium at some point too. I also don't have cams on my show since you need to have a account where you pay to have cams on there. I am sure I will get there at some point. That is my thoughts

Your tunes this week were great, I liked some of the newer songs you put in there.

I was too busy on yesterday. It would have been a show short show if I was live yesterday. Brandon did his show and I did make it there late but I was still there. Thanks for the positive comments. Got more new songs added to my playlist for my show today. I will also add in some different songs for my show on Monday some time too

I think it is great that your doing shows again @DJJosh, from what Brandon has told me you put on a great show.

Josh does put on a great show i have seen a couple myself

Yes it is a great show I do put on. Lots of great music in Christian Music I do play on my show along with a lot of TobyMac songs. Just got to sort out my mic situation and it will be a lot better. Since the mic I got is on the webcam and still trying to test it out to see how it sounds. Been good working with OBS Studio making it very cool on my webcam. My page looks real good with Frank's help making all of these great pictures for my show

yesterday's birthday bash show was awesome and yes i did pass out from getting drunk last night

Yes you were so funny when you got drunk.

LOL yeah who knows i might do it all again next year but it did take me a while to recover this time around from being drunk

Yes it was a good birthday show from Aaron last Sunday for his birthday. The most funny part he was part was when he was laughing in his chair since he said Brandon's name. Then he couldn't get up to do his final song before the show was over. It was a good show for me yesterday and I hope to do a shorter show today. It should shows during the week. I am off on Wednesday since it is Canada Day in Canada. I was hoping to go on before Aaron went on for his show on BG Radio Network. Hopefully it will work out. I will also have to figure out a show on Saturday since it will be Aaron and Brandon doing shows on that day for 4th of July. I was thinking it might be a short show after Brandon is done but it is going to be late show for me. But whatever works then I can fit in a Sunday show at some time too

Yeah the Birthday show was a blast and the show Wednesday night went good fixed a month and a half issue with the USB and i was shocked to see it working without issue i hope that Friday and Saturday can work the same audio wise for the July 4th weekend but other then that i was really happy with the show last night and i hope it will work great Friday Knock on wood also i think a sunday show would work better for you josh since there is a lot going on Saturday afternoon and evening with me starting things off July 4th and then Brandon's July 4th show soon after that

Yeah but could have been better if the guest cans were working yesterday, but I think they fixed them now.
