Favorite AM Radio Stations?

Hello everyone,

Everyone can post there favorite AM Radio Stations here, there are a lot of sports stations, news stations and even a few music ones as well.

Which ones do you like?

the way i see it more and more radio stations stream there stuff online now so likely your cable company will likely end up removing it in the future.

I have it on my cable with Shaw. But it is part of the cable package we got. It is good to listen to. Since I don't listen to the radio stations either FM or AM stations at all just some times. It is mostly Spotfy, YouTube, String Ray Music- The Light, and that is about it. Apart the music in my music library already

all the radio listening i do is online now since the local station can be picked up Via smart speaker and or on there website.

Several of the radio stations in my hometown (Winnipeg, Canada) are broadcasting online but I don't listen to them all that much as I usually like doing other things with my computer and this interferes with my plans.

Same here i mostly listen to iHeartRadio at home and work. Most of the time i listen to Classic Rock and sometimes i listen to 70's music.

I listen to Spotify on my computer and on my phone on my drive to work.

I can listen to Spotify on my laptop or on my phone. I can also make a playlist from the songs on my iCloud that I have bought from the iTunes Store over the years. I don't usually listen to local radio stations too often. I can listen to radio on my stereo in my room. My local Christian radio station which is 88.9 Shine FM you can also listen online. I haven't did that in a long time. It is mostly just Spotify, YouTube, String Ray Music- The Light on my cable, and my music collection on my laptop or iPod

The last time I did listen to the radio was back in May on a road trip with my brother. But that is about it. I don't listen to at home too often. Just some times I do listen to the radio. I got lots of CD's I could listen to CD's all day if I wanted to on the DVD player or on the laptop

I don't listen to Regular stations anymore, if i'm not listen to music on CamUp i'm listening to iHeart Radio on my computer or phone.

I only listen to CD's some times. Not all of the time. Today for instance I had String Ray The Light playing on my cable and it is non stop music including radio singles. It works good for me since I can sing along to my favorite songs as I am listening to it. I don't listen to the radio a lot just some times. It is mostly just Spotify, String Ray Music- The Light, music on my laptop, music on my iPod, or music on iCloud on my phone through bluetooth. I also do listen to YouTube videos on my phone or laptop. That is mostly what I do for my music

Me too! I rarely listen to actual radio anymore, and when I do it is usually in my car when I am too lazy to hook up my phone's Bluetooth in the car to listen to spotify.

i don't listen to the radio much anymore either but when i do it's either from the smart speaker or in the car when going to the store that's about it other times it's just me focusing on my show

I only listen to String Ray Music The Light on my cable since it is non stop music with no commericals and I like it. Since I just like to listen to music while I am doing stuff on the laptop. I do got Spotify or CD's or even music on my library that I can play on Windows Media Player or Spotfiy. I do some times listen to playlists on YouTube if I do want to. I haven't listened to the radio in a very long time. That the last time I did listen to the radio was back in May some time

i have more music on CD and Vinyl and in mp3 format then i do on my spotify List i just don't listen to spotify very much unless i'm out and about to family outings.

Well I just ripped one of my old CD's called Unlocked from Verbs on Friday night in Windows Media Player and also added it to iTunes. I did use one song in my show from that CD which was Live To The Music from Verbs. Just felt like I had to rip a CD since it has been a long time.  I don't listen to the radio at all just some times. Mostly String Ray Music The Light on my cable along with Spotify. I also got lots of music in my library on the laptop to listen to in Windows Media Player. I can also listen to songs in my iCloud on my phone in my room on the bluetooth stereo I got. I also do listen to playlists on my iPod using AUX setting on my stereo. I could listen to the radio just I have no idea to do that at all

ya all our stations went HD here and my stereo system i have that i use to monitor the shows with can't even pick up a single station everything is All HD Digital signal here now and even with an antenna it is very weak if i try to pick one up so i need and HD Radio receiver to pick up stations now cause there not on an analog signal anymore and my dads car it has an HD Radio Receiver built right into his head unit so ya radio isn't how it use to be it's all picked up digitally now

There aren't all that many radio stations on the AM dial in Canada now, but some are still broadcasting on the AM signal.

Yes there isn't very many AM stations in Canada. I do listen to FM more since there is more FM stations. The main one I do listen to is Shine FM that has more than one station depending on where you are. But that is only if you are travelling in a car. My local Shine FM station does play great Christian Music too. Most of the time I do listen to String Ray Music- The Light which does play a lot of great Christian Music radio singles on there. As Aaron was saying it is digital music with no ads which I do love since non stop music is always good with me

As of 2:50 PM CDST on 7/14/2020, I don't have a favorite AM radio station. Such is mostly due to all of the BS in the world right now though, and I'm hoping that it will end soon.

i don't really Listen to AM stations and there mostly new stations anyways around here kind of boring.

I think most AM stations focus on sports these days, since AM band can go much farther than FM, it makes it perfect for broadcasting sports games and stuff like that.

ya i think they do the same thing here to so.

I am still without a favorite AM radio station at 8:30 AM CDST on 7/21/2020, due to all of the world's current BS.
